About Us - all you need to know about Barrontop... We feel the farm provides the unique combination of being interesting, educational and very enjoyable. Location Barrontop is located in the west of Northern Ireland, near the small town of Donemana.

Group Tours You'll be the coolest teachers and leaders around if you bring your children for an outing to Barrontop! At Barrontop Fun Farm, we take the stress out of your visit and everyone has a fun time while learning all about animals, their young and about the food we get from animals. Groups are given an informative guided tour, which can be adapted to suit your needs, and friendly staff are always available to answer any questions. Children will be given the chance to see a large variety of animals and will be able to see, smell, feel and hear all the sights and sounds of the farm. Our guided tour will give everyone an opportunity to get close to friendly farm animals. There are many hands-on activities and children will be able to hold a chick, stroke a calf, cuddle a puppy, feed a lamb as well as seeing unusual animals such as friendly deer, llama and pot-bellied pigs! There is no limit to numbers and no time limit, but most groups stay for 2-3 hours.	Scenic walk panoramic views.

Facilities Children can also have fun on the large indoor bouncy castle, enjoy a cart ride, and let off steam in our adventure playground. We also have a range of indoor facilities, including our new indoor heated soft play area, so bad weather need not ruin your day. You can also browse for souvenirs in our newly refurbished gift shop and enjoy a refreshing cuppa and home baking in the tearoom. Lunchroom facilities are also available.	The Adventure Playground

Special Events - Christmas, Easter & Halloween at Barrontop! If you haven't been before, there is so much for you to see and do here at Christmas. Our superb winter wonderland is a truly magical experience for both young and old! If you have been before, I promise you lots more surprises this year! The children can write letters or draw pictures for Santa Claus to let him know what they want from him on Christmas Eve. They can then post them in his special post box. Better still, they can visit Santa in his grotto where he will have a Christmas present for each of them. You can also see our real life animal Nativity Scene and visit Santa's reindeer and all our other animals on the farm. All activities are indoors so come along whatever the weather! I would advise you and the kids to wrap up warm, although most areas are heated this year. Easter is also a special time at Barrontop. Children can have the opportunity to hold baby rabbits and chicks, and participate in the activities on offer. Special activities include face-painting and an egg hunt. Also, you can visit the Easter bunny to receive an Easter gift! For a fiendishly fun Halloween you have to come to Barrontop! With many fun & Spooky activities on offer it is a great day out which the whole family will enjoy. Highlights include free treats for those who come dressed in Halloween Costumes, the "Tunnel of Terror", a Halloween Competition trail and Silly Spells with Grizelda the witch or Greybeard the Wizard! Subject to availability, you can also take a ride in the Halloween Express (chased by the Headless Horseman!), have your face painted by Wendy the Witch or try your luck in the gruesome lucky dip. Pony trekking No experience required. Our horses are very quiet and all treks have a guide. Great for all ages and abilities (under 8's must be lead). Birthday Parties (from April 2008) At Barrontop Fun Farm, we will be pleased to make your child’s day very special. Our parties are very flexible and are catered around your needs. This pack provides you with all the information you will need on our range of parties and prices, allowing you to choose the best party for your child. We have no minimum or maximum requirements for numbers, and you can book your party for any time – even out of normal working hours if you want a more peaceful atmosphere. Parties last for 2 hours. Barrontop is the ideal venue for parties whatever the weather, any time of year.
